Shape 157, pattern YO, designed by Truda Carter. Painted by Patricia Wells, in late 1950s/1960s. This lovely ashtray is of white earthenware, handpainted on white glaze and has an elaborate floral sprig design on the inside base.

Diameter: 5.5" square (14 cms).

Printed Poole backstamp, impressed "157" (shape no),painted painter's symbol and pattern letters.

Shape 657, pattern BF, designed by Truda Carter. Painted by Lily Pedley in the late 1920s. This lovely jug is of red earthenware, handpainted on clear glaze over white slip and has an elaborate floral sprig on both sides.
