Dated 1935, this is no 809 in a limited edition of 1000 produced to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of George V and Queen Mary. The cup is executed predominately in green, yellow and brown and depicts the uncrowned heads of the royal couple surrounded with flags, shields, heralds blowing horns and the faces of their subjects. The handles bear the names of the Commonwealth countries and Provinces. The rear view is of a knight, with a castle in the background. Height: 10.25" (26 cms) Diameter: 7.25" (18.5 cms).
