One of two patterns of Bodiam castle, this was introduced in 1911 and withdrawn by the early 1950s. The plate depicts Bodiam castle, which was once amagnificent fortress, but is now a hollow shell, surrounded by a moat.Diameter: 10.5" (26.25 cms) Royal Doulton printed marks on reverse. All over fine crazing.
