These are lovely examples of Royal Worcester, with exquisite illustrations. This beautifully drawn plate depicts a scene where Merlin, sitting under a knarled apple tree, meete and is entranced by Viviane, a beautiful young woman, who tricks him into revealing all his knowledge and thereby seals his fate.
